A Deeper Look (King Eldendor)

Firstly, I will tell you the basics of what Eldendor looks like, and later, I will some of my artwork featuring him, as I had originally planned.
Which gives me a spectacular idea! I will draw every character I feature! And I will edit my posts and put the pictures in them. I shall get to work today.
So yes! Eldendor's body build is very powerful. His bones are thick and strong, and he has hard muscles as well, especially in his lower tail, in order to support his huge, spike-liked rectangular tail, which makes a devastating weapon.
His body is similar to that of a Tyrannosaurus-Rex, only he has longer arms, thicker "fingers", bigger feet, and a smaller head. He has horns that protrude from the side of his head to the top of his chin, ranging from big to small. Atop his head are two larger and longer horns, and between those, to a pair of smaller ones, which run down in spaces down his back and to his tail.
Speaking of his tail, it's git rows of spike on top, bottom, and the sides, and the end of it curves up into three spikes.
Very spiky indeed. One might even call him... "The King of Spikes"!
Anyway, his eyes are black  half-circles, which have smaller yellow circles in the middle with a black dot inside of that. When he closes his eyes, these irises just vanish. It's rather creepy to see him sleeping and his pitch-black eyes are just emptiness stretching on and on...
He has humanoid teeth, which he scorns, since naturally he's a carnivore and he would prefer sharper ones. Instead, to show his annoyance, he munches on trees and eats them, only to regurgitate them again. In his introduction to Almanzo Woods, this is what he said:
"ME. I AM JUST A SIMPLE MAN IN A SIMPLE WORLD DOING SIMPLE THINGS. LIKE EATING TREES. HAHAHAHA."

Another thing you should know about Eldendor is that he is far, far bigger than a T-Rex! Thus his voice is booming. He doesn't show a whole lot of emotion when talking (it's all in the face), so normally, instead of yelling something like this:
"Ack!"
It would be more like this:
"ACK."
And when questioning:
"Why?"
It would be more like this:
"WHY."
So that's how Eldendor talks.
Now, you know Eldendor is an exiled king (I think you do, at least, but if not, now you do), and he has been for some time. He travels alongside Almanzo to protect him and to get the throne back, which he actually can't sit on, but no matter; Princess Avalon will.
Eldendor could be considered quite intelligent, but at the same time a blundering idiot. He is very knowledgeable, but he doesn't think before he leaps and does, says and asks some pretty stupid stuff.
Eldendor is also DEATHLY afraid of rats and mice. He cannot move an inch when he sees one, and he's over one hundred time it's size. He doesn't like bugs either, but mice and rats are worse.
Eldendor, as for personality, is rather mixed. Wise and serious one moment, fierce and rampaging the next, and suddenly, he's goofy and cracks lame jokes.
As one of the sacred Guardians that watch over different lands, and also nearly as respectable as an Ancient, Eldendor often triggers a cocked eyebrow or more in his audience. Some of his fellow Guardians are pretty odd, but he's the worst out of all of them.

So! That concludes today's Deeper Look at King Eldendor. Like Almanzo, there might be a part two.

A Deeper Look (Almanzo Woods)

I will be posting "Deeper Looks" throughout this novel (E:TRD) now and then.
First, we will take a deeper look at the protagonist of the story, Almanzo Woods. Starting with the basics, he's a sixteen-year-old Fawnui-elf with a big attitude, and tends not to care about anything at all but himself.
About 20,000+ words into the novel, Almanzo says something that explains some of his personality, after an ex-Rutorran prison guard helps him escape, and dies in the process. Eldendor himself, who ends up rescuing Almanzo in the end, asks him why he's doesn't seem to care, and here's what Almanzo says:
"That's just how I work, Eldendor. What's passed is past. I don't lament over things that are already over..."
How unusual. It's sad to say, but plenty of people have past regrets that they can't help but feel at least a little sad about, at least.
But like Almanzo said, it's just how he works.
However, Almanzo isn't always uncaring, rude, and cold. After Maru is captured, Almanzo seeks her, but then he fails to find her since he is outwitted, much to his disgust, and sent over the edge of a tower, and that's where Eldendor saves him.
And now, Almanzo very, very much wants to go rescue her. But he isn't exactly sure why... she never really seemed to show and kind of kindness toward him whatsoever, and yet...
He was quite determined to rescue her.
So, no matter how terrible or just plain rude a person is, there's always some good within them.
Another note!
Almanzo seems powerful and fearless, but he's actually horribly afraid of trains. When he has to steal a train from the Rutorrans and drive it without any kind of experience, it's awful.
But come to think of it, Maru was there beside him, trying to calm him when he became a little panicked, right there to the end where the train nearly crashes into another that's on the wrong side of the tracks, and that's where Almanzo falls into a dead faint.
That's just how afraid of trains he is.

So, that's all on a Deeper Look on Almanzo Woods for now. It wasn't much, but there will be more.
Until next time!

"Oh, it's you, Almanzo? You certainly took your time getting here..."

So says Princess Avalon of Kingdom Eldendor. But who would have thought that would be followed by a gasp and stifled scream! For the last thing she expected was to see a lion standing there with a creepy faerie riding on his back!
Almanzo, previously, in an attempt to go see her when she summons him, has an unfortunate encounter with some giants clad in thick armour and it sent to a putrid prison.
He is shot there, but instead of dying, he switches forms, changing from elf to lion. He's pretty ticked when he wakes up. He meets the so-called "creepy faerie", Maru, who stalls his time with making him gather seemingly pointless items after they escape from the prison (thanks to a stinky pot which they hurled at the guards and sent them all out of consciousness).
Almanzo is challenged by the embodiment of Power himself, sent to the bottom of the ocean without any kind of gear, and forced to steal from a peddler in the town. Quite frankly, he doesn't really care, but he hates being controlled!

Basically, that's what has happened in about 15,000+ words so far. I stopped for today where he just entered Avalon's quarters, and he's going to get his elf form revived again.
Not exactly anything exciting happening lately, but the story picks up.

Ta-ta!

The Basic Summary

That novel I mentioned in my last post is, in fact, called "ELDENDOR: The Rise of Dagria". I'm a little over 4,000 words so far in two days.
So, here's a basic summary. There's this sixteen-year-old shepherd in a village in Eela, which is inside Eldendor. (looks at some of my earliest posts for some details)
When a strange wolf with fire markings steals one of his sheep to lure him to a trap, he meets a great and mighty king, forgotten in the mists of time...
This king goes by the name of Eldendor, the same as the land itself. He informs Almanzo that it was named after him. He also tells him that the Princess wants him at the castle as soon as possible, but doesn't explain why.
There is quite a delay as Almanzo is captured by the minions of an evil man known as Dagria. But in the prison, he's not alone. A strange, dark faerie by the name of Maru is there and she watches everything he does. When the two manage to escape, Maru makes him do everything she tells him to. Almanzo, for one thing, doesn't like to be bossed or told what to do, so there is a lot of disagreements as the two make their way to the castle.
Maru is captured one again, but Almanzo escapes by using the power of a symbol he bore since birth and never thought twice about; The Gardia's Symbol.
He takes the form of a lion and fends them all off. On his own, he makes it to the castle at last, but is certainly not welcome. With lots of sneaking he reaches the princess and she tells him that their replacement king is... a traitor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
... So, that's that. :D
Well, that was a really simple and slightly dull summary, I admit, but I'm thinking of publishing this one as well so you might find out just how interesting it really it.

As for our next novel...

I'm planning on finishing Bamboran Rain, then after that, starting up another that is a remake of a badly written one. :D
Oh, yes, this new one includes a mighty, kingly beast that is afraid of rats and bugs, an obnoxious, defiant hero, a girl that talks in a monotone, raging dinosaurs and even a lovely princess!
Well, this is going to be an interesting one, so keep your eyes peeled and check back often for updates.
That's all for today. Until next time!

Dear Lord.

That was exhausting. Thirty whole days of getting up early and writing for two hours (or more) straight... every day... all month. I admit it was indeed enjoyable, despite plot errors and holes, but now...
I'm done! That's 60,936 words on the nose. Nearly twice as much as I did last year.
Will I do even more next year? Maybe. Maybe not. I might just keep doing 50,000 words every year like sane people do... heehee. But who knows? I might find myself with enough time to do a whopping 100,000 words!
Well, anyway, congratulations to all who met their goals! And to those who did not, better luck next time, and you did try hard, I hope, so you get a prize for that... which... is likely a congratulations nonetheless from friends and or family!
But you know what? Tomorrow, it'll be December. Allow me to say it again. DECEMBER!!! Why, time flies way too fast sometimes when you're having fun.
...Well, even if I'm a really, really, REALLY old woman years from now, I'll still be writing. ;D

So... again...
CUN-GRAT-YEW-LAY-SHUNS!
If you understood that, then I shall be off.

NaNoWriMo is near conclusion...

...In only four days! For those of you who are cutting it close or just don't think you'll make it all, I say: Don't give up! Just keep writing, whether it makes sense or not! Don't correct spelling errors along the way, unless its tying two words together on accident and making only one!
My novel had ended at least three or four times before I restarted it over and over during this month, and events are arranged perfectly to make no sense whatsoever, but that's where editing and revising comes in later; after this month, of course.
As much as you might think your novel is a useless piece of junk after an exhausting month of writing like mad, with some time, patience and organization, it can be made into something nice and tidy. I, myself, am a bit of a hasty person sometimes, so I don't normally have the patience to edit my novels before I suddenly get the grand idea of rewriting it.
Yes, well, you should really learn to cope with what's already there, but sometimes you do have to rewrite EVERYTHING.
And if it still looks bad when you finish, do it again and again and again until you're satisfied. Then go and publish it, or share it to friends only, or just keep it to yourself or, maybe, your family.
My novel, Feng Song, is a huge mess of spelling errors and a surprisingly low amount of grammar errors! It's, as is said, a big mishmash of strange events, though most are actually quite interesting, like when Cheng the panda makes Kiang look like a fool, or when a boy washes up on the beach after drifting for more than a day, or when Feng herself finds out she... spoiler alert! ERROR, RRRRRRNT, stopping. :D I will say no more. My novel has a lot of surprises, twists and turns, an odd plot, some terribly awkward situations, some confusions that are figured out later, unexpected betrayals...
Well, actually my summary shows none of that. The novel itself, what it is turning out to be, is way more than a summary can ever explain! So much is going on, so you can imagine editing and revising will make it even better!
I used rough translations for names and words, the characters act like a bunch of crazy modern-day people (especially one particular character named Tao), the "Chinese" and "Japanese" feel is totally not there, and the animals act unrealistic, but that can be changed.
So, why not make your novel that awesome? Not by copying, of course; that will only bring one thumb down into two thumbs down. ;D
However, don't be discouraged; this is only what should happen AFTER NaNoWriMo! For now, just focus on reaching that word count! While doing a good job, if you can! XD
I've got many years of writing experience, and if you're new to this, just keep it up. If you're hearts in it, you'll blossom, bud. XD

So that concludes the novel ramble for today! Ah, yes, and I'm 52,ooo words or so closer to 6o,ooo!

Is Feng Song Changing?

It is.
Upon looking at was a horrid mess the plot has become, I thought if over, and got an even better idea. With NaNoWriMo ending soon, though, I will just have to keep thinking of things to happen until it's over, and then I'll go for it.
I was basically thinking I would set in Japanese couture (and names, etc.) instead, and change up the main characters a bit (including their names).
It's too soon to say for sure, but this just might make the story take a turn for the better.
For an example, I was thinking of making Feng just a wolf (with a different name; it wouldn't make sense to put in Chinese names) instead and make Kiba her brother, and if I decide to pursue it, I will launch into full detail.

Until next time!

Well, NOW there's going to be more...

"And there will be more where that came from soon!"
... Haha, soon, my foot. XD

Anyway, the course of "Feng Song's story is taking an extremely unexpected turn! It's an expected messy draft, but nonetheless, I suppose you colud call it interesting, but I need to add subplots because i'm focusing so much on the plot that there's no time for the characters to develope, or interact!
But when come editing time, that will be fixed...
So, earlier, I got stuck. Kiang and Feng had succeeded in finding both dragons, but now what? Turn out, Kiang gets captured by H... eerrr, one of the dragons and they have to go save him. But they have to go to Kiang's horrible hometown village and see the elder, who is the only one who knows how to get through the confusing storm that the evil dragon put up to prevent them.
It's a lot of work, but they manage to rescue him, and lalalalala...!
Wait a minute. Upon saving them, I've hit 19,000 words. HELLO!? W.T.P., man!?
But it turns out that when they think they defeated the bad dragon, it's not actually dead and they can kill it with weapon s alone.
They must  set off and go through temple filled with traps and free the guardians from statue form, the guardians who protect different powers that are required to defeat the... bad dragon. The guardians are; Zhong, the mighty beast deity, Lin, the nine-tailed fox, Yun, the regal phoenix and Yingzi, a creature that will be discovered later. XD
There's a lot more to the story, now, but once it's polished, it might be cool to publish it! I'm not entirely concerned if the editors change thigns around in this one, but needless to say, the novel is certainly not junk!
...Well, right NOW it is, but later, it wont be.

Note: Some of the names may change over time. I didn't feel like looking up a suiting name, so I used Google Translate to translate their elements into the Chinese language. so, I don't know if these words are, in fact, correct!
And also, W.T.P. stands for "What the pickles", JSYK. XP

Until next time!

Finally, NaNoWriMo!

Yes! I have a word count goal of 60,000 words. That's means I have to do 2,000 words a day. I'm done for the day right now, but you'll be hearing a lot more where that came from soon.

I can't wait until I start getting into the storyline! All Feng did so far was talk, do chores, and go to the market... in a more interesting fashion than that, of course.

Oh, yeah, and now that I've learned how to display banners on NaNoWriMo, I'm thinking up setting up a shop... but only after NaNoWriMo.

Haven't posted in awhile.

Nope. With NaNoWriMo coming up and all, it's been rather busy...
I know you've already seen this, but here's the newly-improved version of that summary:

A long, long time ago, an event took place that no one even remembers or even knows about but those who had experienced it. It was an event which your history books do not tell you of.
This event took place in ancient China. It was one ordinary day, people were going on about their usual daily routines... when all of a sudden, something blocked the sun. Before the people could get a chance to see what it was, something fell upon them, crushing their entire town.
However, the sun shone again right afterward, and the people were unharmed, but they were no longer in the place that they once were.
As in, they were still in their town, but their town was now inside a completely different country; a completely different world!
Therefore it was only them who knew what happened. Unable to return to China, they remained here and created their own new empire.
Their city became vast, and was newly known as "Tikapon", which was a word that a man from this new planet told them of. It seemed as if he eagerly wanted them to name their city that, but the reason why is still unknown....

Several years later, their lifestyle and technology changed drastically; very different from their original country itself.
Something is stirring in the air, the people of Tikapon say, but they don't know if its good or bad.
Living on the countryside north from the city lives Feng and Ming Song, sent from the city to their Grandmother's house by their parents for seemingly no apparent reason. Feng and Ming are sisters, and very close ones at that. They are always together, having fun even when they have to do their multiple chores.
But one night, Feng goes out to check on the animals, when she spots an unusual creature watching her; not even remotely concealed, but just standing right out in the wide open. It appears to be some kind of canine, but its too dark to see.
After hearing gunshots the following night, Feng goes out to do chores again in the morning and sees a young man laying there. Quickly, she runs to his aid. He appears have a bullet in his shoulder, but who would have shot him?
As her Grandmother agrees to let him stay awhile, the young man grows stronger, and he finally introduces himself as Kiang Wu, and he had been searching for Feng for a very long time, its seems.
It turns out that Kiang is actually the wolf that Feng saw on that night, only in human form. Or is human, changing to and from wolf? Feng can't figure it out, and Kiang won't say much about it to her.
As the days go on, Kiang tells Feng that there are two dragons lurking around the city; one is cold and icy, and the other is hot and fiery. He also says that it is required that she comes with him to uncover the truth behind these dragon's; which one is good, which one is evil? Or are they both evil, or both good? Or maybe not good of evil at all...
Feng finds out she, too, can take the form of a wolf, though hers is far cuter and purer then Kiang's...
What are these dragon's reasons? Who is Kiang, really, and does it have anything to do with the "strange event" that took place hundred of years ago?

There we go. I think that's pretty much what the plot is going to be about, with more interesting aspects, of course.

Well, this is basically the same post. Clearly nothing exciting has been happening...

Finally, the basics of Feng Song's plot!

Sorting things out.

Well, I've got a low of things piling up...
Which should I write first? Bamboran Rains? The Dawnwolf? Feng Song, or the Lirin Bahonan series?
All in all, that's eight novels total... but wait! What about that Eldendor one? A Quest for Peace... and the Duskwolf, too.
Arrgh. These are novels I truly do want to write...
I think I'll do it in this order:
Feng Song in November
Bamboran Rains after November
The Dawnwolf after Bamboran Rains
Lirin Bahonan series after that, or in between, now and then.
And then the Eldendor one after that, and after THAT, The Duskwolf.
That's ten... freaking... novels...
Oh, well. It's not like I'm going anywhere anytime soon. I'll just take it one step at a time. Normally, I would write the ones that have the most development, but then I might forget the other ideas!
With NaNoWriMo this November, I think it will work out great.

...
No, wait! I have an epic idea! I'll set a deadline to finish The Dawnwolf  in two months!
Like I said in an earlier post, Bamboran Rains will be finished OR published in Spring or so...

Well, I'm just ranting here. Thanks for hearing me out.

Planet Crichianadiie's 3011th birthday!

Is today! Or tomorrow! Can't remember!
It's odd that the inhabitants of Crichianadiie would actually keep track of the date that their planet was made, but the Ancient of Time would likely know, so he probably told someone, and it spread from there.
Thinking it over... Crichianadiie is pretty young!
But, as you know, I'm, like, WAY older than this planet. Like, $999,996,989 years older!
... Uh, what's that you say? The dollar sign? What dollar sign? No, I wasn't thinking about how much money I could sell this planet for...
... Not that you can really sell planets, anyway. Heehee!
Oh, yeah, I don't know if I already said this, but Lirin Bahonan (the character) is now 29 years old (since the 19th of last month).
He was 27 when I made him up. Not very impress-o, but it's something!
Yeah, well, Almanzo Woods, another character of mine, was created as age 16, but is now 19! 20? Can't remember. Arrgh.
Well, I have characters that are older than my planet, anyway.
And that concludes our univer$al studies of today!

... What? No, no, you must be money-obsessed and hallucinating. I didn't use a $ for an S...

Weird Script.

Well, the weather is quite nice today. I can only hope it gets nicer.
A few days ago, I had an incredibly strange dream. I'm writing a script based off of the crucial details of this dream, with other details added.
Basically...
It's about this boy named Joey. He's eight, and he really, really wants a dog.
Wait, what? Stop here?! Yeah, it sounds very boring, but keep reading!
Anyway, one day, when school ends for the day, Joey is headed for the bus, when something huge nearly lands on his head.
Meet Lonri, a massive, over 5-foot wolf-like monster that talks! Pestered all the way home, Joey thinks he get's rid of Lonri, when...
...When Lonri breaks up his molecules and passed right through the door, before materializing again.
Joey is greatly puzzled by this, but then there is even more shocking surprises yet to come.
After Joey's parents get home, Joey has to hide Lonri somewhere. For a few days, Joey takes care of him, until later...
It turns out Lonri isn't actually a wolf, but a strange, alien man! He looks perfectly human, really except for a few unusual attributes...
When Joey goes to talk to Libya, a young woman who lives in a mansion alone, Lorni takes a great interest in her which complicates protecting him quite a bit.
Libya states that there is a planet far, far away from Earth, seemingly unreachable, but this man seems to have come from that exact planet.
Lonri has many different powers, Joey and Libya discovers, other than dissipating and turning into a wolf. Like a chameleon, he can match the color of his surroundings, only its far more complex; he can match the area he is in front of!
And if Lonri's mere presence isn't enough, an insane, spindly-limbed film-producer discovers Lonri and wants to add him to his motion picture. But Lonri wont accept. finally, the scary film-maker finds Libya and drags her in, forcing Lonri to pursue and rescue her.
Joey knows that if Lonri is put into a movie, it will become famous, and so will Lonri, then, Lorni would be in grave danger, and so would his planet. Planet Earth, even.
It's up to Joey to find a way for Lonri to go back, but... being such close friends to Lorni by now... would a boy like him have the heart to do it?

... Pretty weird, huh? I'm writing it right now!

Full Bamboran Rains Description!

Finally! This novel will be published... sometime next year. Spring, Summer, somewhere around there. Spring, likely, if I'm not rejected...

Here's the description.

Copyrighted by M.H. :
Dannon, a Rutorran Buckskin stallion, was raised by mountain lions due to a strange decision on his mother's part, until he descovers he's been decived, and leaves hastily by choice, in search of his mother and others of his kind.
He meets a haughty and reckless mare named Saja, who helps him escape from the enraged mountains lions that pursue him when he leaves the pride, and she takes him to his mother(now the leader of a new herd since her old one was destroyed by the lions during a terrible famine), who does desire to see him.
But after this emotional reunion, she tells him of something that he and Saja must do, which requires more journeying.
This journey requires passing through the sacred Road to Ashlond and entering the Realm of Ashlond to bring peace among the two sides of Bambora, bringing the sun back to the Eastern side and the Rain back to the Western side, since a fight broke out between the places a long time ago and these two crucial elements were taken away.

By the way...
Bambora is a place that runs between to countries; a dry desert/volcanic region, Rutorra, and an arctic/rain forest region, Laghathia.
There's Rutorran Bambora, the Western side, which is a dry, hot desert, and Laghathian Bambora, the Eastern side, which is wet, cold and rainy.
The sides are divided by the Bamboran Mountains and cliffs.

I think that sums it up. Yay, no world-saving.

I'm fired up!

NaNoWriMo is only a month away, and I'm nearly prepared!
I'm happy that I helped with a problem in re-launching the site... I asked the one of the new people in charge if they could fix the thing where is says "Years You've Done (and Won) NaNoWriMo", since it only went up to 2008...
He said they must have overlooked it, thanked me, and he fixed it right away! Yay! :D
I know a lot of you NaNoers have been wanting that fixed for awhile...
Suuuure, it's not THAT important, but I'm still happy I helped!

So, yes, I need to go to the library soon and look up some History books, like I said, but I also need help with something else...
Um...
Are Chinese beds or cots called anything in particular? Or are they just called beds and cots? Is a different word for them required?
As you can clearly see, I'm not used writing about things that happened on Earth...
Hoo, my.

Whew, I think I'm nearly ready.

That was a lot of work! I copied down several names and authors of book on ancient China. Mainly Beijjing.
Oh, yes, I've decided to use that Feng novel for this years NaNoWriMo novel. It's set as stone, it is!
She also has a last name; Song. The novel will likely be called "Feng Song" if I can't think of anything else.
The plot... it's still up in the air, alas, but I'll work it out.
I just got the NaNoWriMo profile back onto this new computer and I'm planning on using it later on, but now my rear is becoming numb from sitting in this computer chair for so long.
Ah, T.M.I.. Logging off! I've got to practice piano. By the way, I'm doing pretty well and I'm planning on composing some things I've been longing to for... years. If you, too, should like to learn then, we'll see about passing over the music sheets... but not now. I'm not quite there yet. I'm still a beginner...

More gunshots this morning! (Harthun just won't give it a rest, already!)

What's new?

I picked "Bamboran Rains" back up again after doing a brief editing session. It's going quite well.
I'm almost back to the point in chapter four of "Lirin Bahonan: Rising Rage" that I previously erased on accident and I'm getting a better idea of what the novel with Feng in it is going to be about. I still don't know if this one or the sequel to the script I wrote is gonna be this year's NaNoWriMo novel... I'm thinking it's going to be the one with Feng in it, though, because the other one is extremely long and I know it pretty much by heart so I can write it anytime.
But I still need to pick back up on "The Dawnwolf"...

*I sure did have a tough time trying to long on today. Blogger was being weird and not recognizing my user name...

A note to my best friend: The other day, I heard gunshots. No, really. I thought it was fireworks, but apparently it was gunshots. I think someone was hunting. It was Harthun going after Lirin, think. XD Ouch!

Happy *Belated* Fall!

Yeah, well, anyway, I just started that novel with Mr. Shay in it. It's called "Midnight the Wolf-Dog".
Oh, yeah...
I know not many have seen my blog, but can anyone tell me what some good, easy-to-use video-making programs are? Perhaps one where you can add sound files for voice-overs?
I'm going to probably try and master Microsoft Paint for the artwork, but mostly, I need a video-making program that you can add sound files to...
I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to making movies, but, ah, I'll learn if I try...
What about Windows Movie maker, though... I guess I'll have to inspect it thoroughly and take tutorials, perhaps...
A little off topic...
I wanted to try and get good at Blender, but I need this thing called Cobra-something... well, never mind that, then!
Off to work!

Okay.

Its time to pick back up on Rising Rage, and start the new novel with Mr. Shay in it...
But there's NaNoWriMo in November, so that adds to my pile of work...
Well, it's more than a month away. I've still got time to prepare. I need to fill out what happens after what in the novel, though, because there needs to be more than just bringing peace among Fawnui and Eldorin...
Ah, well.
That Mr. Shay story will be pretty short since it's not official. XD

Well, maybe later today or tomorrow I might have something particularly exciting to say for myself...

Different NaNoNovel...

I'm thinking over a new idea I have. It's set in ancient China and the Main Character is FEMALE!!! :O YAY!
Her name is Feng, but I don't have a last name for her...
Anyway, she has an ability to switch from human to wolf, which the Emperors don't know about and she isn't quite sure she wants to tell them.
I'm not quite certain of the plot, but that's just the basics.
Anyway, Feng is pretty nice, and the is very patient and smiles a lot. She doesn't really have any past regrets since her childhood was pretty good.
Alas...
I need to go look up more on ancient China, and I'm not used to writing in our world...
Ah, well. XD Homeschool!
Anyway! I'm certain I'll do a good job and not overdo it like everyone else seems to... that I've read about.

A Path over a Bog

"This path... every step is different along the way. Some of it is fairly firm ground, some of it is thick mud that my feet nearly become permanently stuck in...
What a nuisance be this path, but I will get to the end at some point.
But this does remind me of the similarities between this path and life itself. Some days you're walking along perfectly, and others, you drag; you're very sluggish, or find yourself unable to move at all...
But when a new day comes, more than likely, you're on your way again. When you reach the end of the path, that's the end of your life as well.
But that is just a thought on life. I am almost to the end of this path over a bog, but my life is nowhere near it's end..."  - Lirin Bahonan

So, you wonder... how muddy are your feet going to be at the end of your path? I should hope that they are barely, or better, not at all...

Jeez, I didn't know Lirin had capabilities of saying something so thoughtful...! Than again, he was probably bored near tears on that long path full of mosquitoes....

Uh... anyway.
That's a quote from him in either book two of five. I don't remember. I think it was originally from book three, but events got switched around to make more sense.

The other novel...

The sequel of "The Dawnwolf", "The Duskwolf", is set several years after "The Dawnwolf", and the main character is Mori's daughter.
The Duskwolf, a chaotic wolf without any purpose at all but to bring an eternal night and destroy all morning.
The Dawnwolf must rise once more to help Mori's daughter fight the Duskwolf back.

... If you wonder why I give you such generic descriptions, it's because 1, I don't want to spoil it. 2, if you're an idea thief, there isn't much to snag, and 3, once their published, I'll have all my copyrights and all that legal stuff...

Speaking of which, I haven't described the "Lirin Bahonan" series... well, its rather complex, if I do say so myself...

The Dawnwolf, Bamboran Rains, Brother Galwryn...

Those are the other novels I've gotten into but haven't yet finished.
The Dawnwolf is about a boy who bonds with a sacred wolf of dawn and goes in search of medicine when the whole village is plagued with a fatal virus.
Bamboran Rains is about Dannon, a Rutorran buckskin stallion who was raised by mountain lions who goes in search of a herd to be a part of when he finds out he's not a lion. Upon finding a strange necklace that turns him into a dragon, he is sent to settle the calamity between fire and water and bring the sun to Laghathian Bambora and the rain back to Rutorran Bambora.
Brother Galwryn is about Malmir, a young Everan wolf anthropomorphous (a Tacian, from ground), and his tribe's leader's son.
The war between ground and sky is still raging, and it gets worse when a Galwryn boy (from sky) comes to the tribe, lost.
Malmir can only keep this boy a secret for so long, until he's found out. This incident changes the Tacians and Galwryns in a way that they never expected...

Tomorrow or later today, I will list my newest novel ideas. I have a phone call to make, so I have no time now!

MR. SHAY'S RETURN!

MR. SHAY HAS RETURNED FROM THE DEPTH OF THE NOVEL GRAVES TO STRIKE ONCE AGAIN!!!!!

Oh, who's Mr. Shay, you ask? I'll keep it simple, though Mr. Shay is no simpleton.
He's a very short mini Schnauzer who walks on his back legs, talks and walks like a human, and always ears a plaid vest. When he's up to some SERIOUS trouble, he wears a bowler hat. OR WORSE... a "Men in Black"-like outfit and sunglasses.
Commonly, music fitting to Mr. Shay's taste will play when he enters a room. He is invincible and very pliable, though always snaps back. He is ALWAYS WATCHING YOU.
He who turns out the light or turns it on when you know you turned it on of off... he who is responsible for an action when everyone else denies it... he who steals things from you when you knew they were RIGHT THERE.
Oh, yes.
Anyway, I just told He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's theory. No, I don't mean Lord Voldemort. Or however you spell it.
Anyhoo, Mr. Shay was a side nuisance and a comic relief in one of my very old novels. But now, I'm rewriting that novel and he's moving up a rank...
MR. SHAY PWNS!
Details? Ask. I wanted to do a 365 project with him (you know, taking a different picture of him every day for an entire year), but no one would get it unless they knew Mr. Shay through and through.
Beware...

This year's NaNoNovel...

As you know (at least I think you might), the novel's name is "Eldendor: A Quest for Peace", and it's the sequel to a script I wrote this April... and I know I told you that. Good.
Here's a rather generic description for ya.

16-year-old Almanzo Woods is a shepherd from Eela, a quiet village inside a large forest clearing.
He was found just outside the mayor's house at age twelve and had amnesia, and also a very large wound on his head.
One day, one of the village's sheep goes missing, and Almanzo goes after it, but has an unfortunate encounter with a fire wolf, which burns down several trees, making a perfectly boiling box with him inside it. But then, Eldendor, the forgotten king of Kingdom Eldendor, manages to free him. The two converse briefly, and Almanzo discovers that there is something serious stirring between the Eldorin and Fawnui. Once the fire dies, Eldendor let's Almanzo go, and give him his sheep. Everyone is worried about him, but he has other things on his mind. Not long afterward, Almanzo finds himself in the middle of finding peace among Eldendor and Lefanui and enthroning Eldendor himself once more. But apparently this is a job that one of his ancestors had failed a long time ago. And there is someone standing in the way, waiting for the right opportunity to strike and mess everything up. Someone who existed in Almanzo's ancestor's time. But will Almanzo be defeated like he was? And more importantly... does he, this foolishly defiant young man, follow through?

... WOW! That's really boring! Here, have some details.
Almanzo is an elf with Fawnui blood, thought it doesn't quite show. Fawnui are people from Lefawnui (Lef-AH-noo-EE), and they normally dark brown skin and green hair and eyes. The live in several tribes and live by hunting and protecting one another.
The Fawnui of high north have tails, but others don't.
The Eldorin and Fawnui used to hate each other, and I won't tell you if they still do 'cause you'd jsut have to read my novel, now wouldn't you? POOH! XD
But If you never end up getting it, I'll tell you later, I guess.

So! As the novel progresses, I'll tell you more about it.

_________

This is the list of all the places I've created so far. They're kinda out of order, but I'll put them in categories...

Islands:
The Isle of Gackle
The Isle of Urd
The Concealed Island (Part of Evagren)

Kingdoms/Countries:
Kingdom Eldendor (More of a country)
Kingdom Sand (Near Eldendor)
Kingdom Geostone (Owned.part by Evagren, between Eldendor and there)
Kingdom Takuna (Part of Evagren, but not exactly owned)
Rutorra (And kingdoms within)
Laghathia
Jadina
Tiada
Evagren (Only spring and summer here)
Tanakosk (A place with a deep and long history)
Veinar (An odd place inhabited by mythical and magic creatures only)

Other Large Places (And seas):
Bambora (Shared between Laghathia and Rutorra depending on what side you're on)
The Sinister Rift (Or Raxron's Abyss. A place unexplored by anyone. It's protected by a shroud of strange darkness)
The Dead Sea (A sea that stretches around Fadina, cuts past Western Rutorra and over the Sinister Rift, then cuts off out of sight.
Prakon's Sea (A sea that curves past Evagren and Veinar, and is said to be the territory of the Ancient of All Water)
The Sea of Beginnings (The best place to begin a world travel. It is a sea that is surrounded by countries an other places all around)

... I think that might be it. Want me to get into the places INSIDE each country!? Heheheh. No, I won,t' that'd take too long. No, really.

But there's more!

I plan to take the NaNoWriMo challenge this year. I did last year and won, but that novel ended up being an epic fail... and I may or may not re-write of, or wright a different novel with the same characters.

But anyway! This year's novel is "Eldendor: A Quest for Peace". It's a sequel to a script I wrote this year in April. Details later.
Haven't written today, but I plan to get very far on Chapter Three of Rising Rage.

First Post

Allow me to buy up all your time with a long, exaggerated description of just how grand I am.
...
Well, on the second thought, I'd be wasting my own time, so I'll just keep it somewhat short.
I am a 3,000,000-year-old dire wolf with glistening yellow teeth and a hearty smile.
I like to write. LOTS. Fantasy and Sci Fi, but mostly Fantasy.
Sooo.
I am a total freak about my characters. I've created over 150 of them, but I don't normally use them ALL.
I've been writing since I couldn't spell. A long time ago, I created a planet called Crichianadiie (Crich-EE-anna-DIE), where all of the countries and their inhabitants from my novels are. That planet is still in existence to this day, and new places are always being discovered.
Not one animal or human is like those here, on Earth (unless brought there and bred), which you may or may not find crazy and obsessed, but no... it's called imagination. :D
Anyway, before I get carried away, I'm must tell you what novel I'm currently writing!
It's a series, actually. I already have book 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 in mind. The series has a name. Oh, my gosh, a NAME!!!! A name that I might change later.
Here's the list of novel titles in mind in this series:
Series: Lirin Bahonan
Book One: Rising Rage
Book Two: Legends of Tanakosk
Book Three: The War of the Mask
Book Four: The Tacians of Dragon Mountain

... I'm still thinking of the title of book five.
I've written this series twice, but both times, there vision was impossible, so I started over. I'm on my third try, and I have a better idea of what I'm doing.
I just finished chapter two of Rising Rage and I'm writing in chapter three. It's quite a breeze, since I know the first three novels by heart.
I'm never giving up on this!

So, uhhhh... right,  my name is Mary, but you can call me Wolf.
Um... I think that's all for now, that I can think of... if not, I'll tell you tomorrow!
