LB:LT: Lilli Bahonan (and more about the storyline)

Yes, you read that right. Lilli BAHONAN. We're introducing a new character!
Lilli is but a seven-year-old girl living in the commoner's district in Time City. At the beginning of the story, Lirin awakens in the same house as her, and he's covered in old scars and fresh wounds, but he doesn't really notice.
Lirin can't remember his own name or what had happened to him [in the previous book], but with Lilli's help, he remembers it all. But what happened after all that?
But when Lilli calls him "father" he is alerted. He asks he is that was a slip of the tongue, but she only gets depressed when she realized he doesn't recognize her.
There's a lot of going back-and-forth and a lot of puzzlement over her and who her mother is. Lirin does admit that this young girl resembles him closely, but the name of her mother, Ellenore, doesn't ring a bell to him at all.
It wouldn't for to you, either. She's not in the previous book, anyway.
Yet the young girl insists she's his daughter, and when Lirin realizes that it's been eight years [since the last book], he knows he most definitely wasn't unconscious. But he has no recollection of what happened.
What did happen? You're probably very confused...
After leaving the city, Lirin meets Takuna outside, and Takuna explains to him that this was no accident; after he prevented Lord Shadowfang from killing Lirin, the beast of Rage possessed Lirin's body and fled, leaving Takuna with no choice but to give up for now. He couldn't exorcise the spirit lest he harm Lirin, and Lord Shadowfang had become far too strong, anyway, with all the Rage that he had gained upon entering the vessel.
He fled and hid away, and in the following eight years, followed through with his plans. On the eighth year, however, Takuna was able to kick him out of the body with his built-up power, awakening Lirin's real spirit and therefore awakening his true conscience and spirit.
In short, Lord Shadowfang had taken over Lirin's body and was using him for eight years, but Lirin didn't recall anything Lord Shadowfang had made him do because his own spirit was dormant.
In that time, Lilli came about, and Lord Shadowfang seemed to have plans for her in his evil plot to take over Evagren and kill Lirin, but then he nearly got completely exorcised by Takuna and fled the body (as a vulnerable spirit) to a different time period, because he had stolen some of Takuna's power previously.
Takuna finishes by telling Lirin that Lilli is to light the way for him, because she, too, holds some of Takuna's power, but has yet to fully realize it. Lirin must guard Lilli with his life and both he and Takuna must seek clues on Lord Shadowfang's whereabouts... and they both feel as if the crisis may extend beyond Evagren itself, not to mention the present time. Lord Shadowfang could corrupt a lot of things by going back in history....

So, that's a mixture of both the details of the storyline and about Lilli herself. Before I close for the day, I'll say a few more things about her:
Lilli knows a lot about what had happened that Lirin doesn't, since she wasn't the one with the absent spirit.
Neither of them know where Ellenore is, and when Lilli mentions something about not seeing her since an "incident", Lirin asks her what happened, but she doesn't seem to want to talk about it...

That about wraps things up for now! Until next time!
